Boomer is a 8-year-old Beagle in Cheshire, CT, who needs $1,400 for Kidney Infection Treatment.

Boomer is a rescue beagle who blessed my life four years ago. He was found roaming the streets. My friend and I tried to find his owners but no one ever came forward. He has been with me ever since. Poor boy had such bad ear and skin infections. He was my first furbaby and now is the oldest of a pack of five rescues. Four beagles and one chow chow.

Boomer is the bestest boy ever. He loves his treats and belly rubs. He doesn’t like being with him humans and enjoys coming on car rides. He is a total love bug. He is lazy boy, unless it’s time for a walk and then his nose will carry him for hours. He insists on having a treat as soon as he wakes up and will remind you if you are slightly late for his meal.

Boomer is a licker, he loves to lick things from his bed to the floor to my face lol. He has also perfected herding the pack to the kitchen to beg for treats. Whenever a dog walks by he runs to the front of the fenced in yard and gets the whole pack to start a cacophony of howling which the neighbors thankfully don’t mind. He is truly the best.

Boomer has a severe kidney infection. Last night I discovered him disoriented and in agony. I knew something was wrong so I took him immediately to the vet. They immediately noticed blood in his urine and could tell his pain was severe. Thankfully he is responding well to treatments. They also believe this is what is causing his other ailments this past month.

I’m a single mom on a fixed income. Boomer has had a rough month and to see him back to his normal self would be everything. It kills me to see him uncomfortable. My furbabies are my life.
