I found my boomer Eugene with a liter of puppies at a lake. I told myself “I can’t get a dog there’s no way” until that chunky puppy laid his head in my lap- I was in awe. I’ve had boomer for 5 years now and he’s been the one thing keeping me alive. He’s truly my best friend. A constant love in my life

Boomer is a huge love bug. Any chance he gets he is in your lap giving hugs, kisses and comfort. He’s always been one to love a snuggle and he smothers everyone in kisses. He has a kitten brother who he adores and spends his days playing and cuddling with. I haven’t known a more loving and gentle animal

Boomer has been with me since he was about 2 months old. He’s been my first love. He has traveled to mountains and rivers filling my life with love, light and laughter. I know everyone says their dog is their best friend- but when I say it I truly mean every word. There has not been a day that Boomer and I have been apart. He’s so silly, and comforting.

Around a month ago boomers fun personality started demolishing. He starting having trouble walking, jumping and even picking up his stuffies. After a trip to the emergency vet and getting X-rays we found that one of his discs slipped and is causing him so much pain. He cannot walk, stand or eat on his own currently. His vet suggested surgery after weeks of medication and trying to help him at home

This was something so unexpected. I currently live paycheck to paycheck and after paying for his emergency vet costs and other medications I have no savings. Anything helps at this point
