Boomer is a 7-year-old Pitbull in Keansburg, NJ, who needs $1,000 for Chemotherapy.

We found Boomer when he was 3 weeks old and a box in the middle of the street. I brought him home, having to bottle feed him. We were living in a bungalow with barely a yard. We put him in a harness for the first time and he fell over like a fainting goat. We then moved into a one bedroom apartment with no yard. Now we're in a two bedroom house with a yard. He now has more room to run and play.

He will play around jumping on and off the couch, you know playing with his rope and his balls with us. He runs up and down the yard racing the neighbors kids. He's definitely afraid of her but she's 24 years old, but my 11 year old cat he curls up with her on the couch or on the bed and licks her upside face.

Boomers a big goofball, he thinks that everybody should play with him and let him love all over them. He goes to the vets and he thinks it's a big playdate. When we go to my sons house he has his play dates. He lays on the couch staring at the TV whenever someone watches a show. If you go outside, he's at your side and he stares at you as you talk, then he will talk back.

He was sick, wouldn't eat, and every time he drank he would throw up. We took him to our veterinarian and found out this past month that he has T cell lymphoma. They said the best option is to do aggressive chemo for right now. He has to go for an IV every week. So far he seems to be doing good, but it's too soon to tell at the moment.

I am disabled and Boomer is my service animal. He helps me get out of bed, helps me get out of the tub, and even though he's sick, he still tries to do that. Being disabled is stopping me from being to able to pay the bills for him and that's why I'm asking for help.
