Boomer is a 3-year-old Mixed in Mays Landing, NJ, who needs $1,500 for X-rays and More Tests.

We rescued Boomer from an animal shelter over a year ago. He’s such a sweet boy and loves everyone. His name was Boomer when we met him and we decided to keep it the same because he definitely brings the boom to any room he is in! He thinks he is a lap dog or a cat because he has no idea of personal space. He loves to cuddle and is such a people person! He is our only pet & we love him so much!

Boomer loves to sleep right next to you. He will come up and cuddle you if you lay on the couch. He loves to sleep in the bed at night. He is so sweet and will wait by the back door when he needs to potty. He goes nuts when you ask him and runs around the house until you head to the door to let him out. He will even come up and nudge your face to tell you he has to go. He’s a face licker as well!

He loves his daddy! He loves anything that is a hall & goes nuts when you throw them. He has a favorite pumpkin that squeaks and he has never destroyed but has destroyed other toys. He is so loving to even his toy. He loves to make my 9 month old laugh and lick her face. Boomer loves car rides and going for a walk anytime. When you let him in after being outside he runs right to his treats & sits!

Boomer started throwing up two days ago. After digging deep to find some money and asking everyone we could, we came up with the money to take him to an emergency vet. After some meds and rest we prayed he would get better, however he still won’t eat or drink & needs to head back to a vet. We took him to Absecon vet hospital. We are hoping to pay for more testing to see if it’s something minor.

I am currently a teacher and a single mom of two beautiful girls ages 12 & 9 months. I was laid off after returning from maternity leave this past June. I applied for unemployment but was told that due to an overpayment from 2020, I would receive nothing. I have no income.
