Boone is a 12 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Taylorsville, GA, who needs $2,000 for Broken Femur Repair.

Boone is an Australian Blue Heeler that has been in our lives for 12 years now and is the best boy we could ask for. He lives for chasing cows and riding shotgun on the side-by-side to check out the farmland and enjoy the country air. He has a 7 year old Australian Shepherd brother that likes to play with him and keep him young.

Boone lost his hearing this last year and unfortunately is not able to hear cars start. This was sadly what led to him being backed over that resulted in a completely broken femur bone. The recovery process for our sweet boy has been a long one and after the multiple vet trips to try and surgically fix his leg, it has unfortunately rebroken this past week and we are devastated.

We believe Boone has a few more years left with us on this earth as he is still full of life and wags his tail when he sees us even with a broken leg. He still wants to run around with his buddy and ride around in the pasture with us and the last thing we want is to have to put our buddy down.

After spending thousands already to try and heal Boone’s leg with surgery and learning that the leg has been rebroken has left us feeling lost and unsure what to do from here. We do not have the finances to continue extensive treatment & could use all the support we can get.
