About this campaign
Boots was found through an online ad from someone who could not care for him. He lives in a cute rabbit run indoors and free roams during the day with occasional trips in the garden in a covered space. He’s sassy and adorable! Lies super still when he is pet and comes when called like a dog. He LOVES to thump and get attention :)
My rabbit, Boots, was diagnosed with suspected gastrointestinal stasis after suddenly stopping eating and producing feces while I was away receiving care for an illness in the hospital. He received fluids, pain meds, anti-nausea meds, and a GI motility injection at Animal Medical Emergency Center in New York. He’s still at risk and requires ongoing care (deadly if untreated).
He’s very sweet, a bit shy and calm. Loves to be pet and sits super still like a doll. He started off life quite timid and grew to love people, running around, and eating massive enough to of vegetables!
I was left unable to work after worsening narcolepsy w/ cataplexy, depression, and other issues. While I was receiving treatment at a hospital Boots fell ill. I have no funds left after paying for Boots’ emergency care. He’s still not pooping and support will help save him!
