Boris is a 10 year old American Shorthair in Belle Plaine, MN, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery.

Boris & I met way back in 2016 after I had gotten out of the hospital. I remember walking into the shelter, going up to his cage & immediately being greeted by him. The staff was so excited and they mentioned he hasn't tried socializing with anyone yet, I think I knew right then that we both needed each other.

Boris was seen at the Belle Plaine Animal Hospital and they had told us that our old boy has stage 3 gingivitis and will need all/most of his teeth removed. they aren't fully sure of how bad it is and warned me they may need to do a second procedure.

Boris is an extremely social cat who developed a bond with my other cat, Nigel, who we got as a kitten. Boris has always been accepting of new people/creatures in the house and I really do think he enjoys the 'big brother' role.

I can't help but beat myself up over not being able to afford Boris's dental work. Knowing that my sweet boy is in pain & I can't immediately fix it hurts so much. If any pet owner has had the unfortunate run in with dental bills, they know how much stress it can put on.
