Boston's dad Billy was escaping the darkest of times when they met and saved each other. Billy poured all his love into Boston from day one with trips to the river, lots of movies and SO many treats. When our families blended, Boston got even more friends, outings and fun, plus two brothers who adore him. We lost Billy in May, but Boston is a piece of his heart that he left here with us.

Boston was playing in our yard with his young canine cousin, took a funny step, yelped and wouldn't put his paw down. His vet, Dr. Jones, at Northwind Animal Hospital in Cub Hill, MD confirmed that it was a CCL rupture. He has a pretty cool brace on both legs to support the joints, but he needs surgery to repair the ligament.

Boston is our soul dog. He is a very obedient guy, but if you leave him alone sometimes he will get naughty and counter surf. Nobody is perfect! He loves nature, hates fireworks and thunderstorms and waits at the front door for the chance to go ANYWHERE... so we take him EVERYWHERE. His favorites are Sam's baseball games, dropping Max off at school and trips to Home Depot.

There aren't words to describe how hard the last few months have been and I hadn't gotten insurance for my sweet friend yet. This is an injury we weren't ready for and an expense we weren't ready for. This family has lost too much already. We need Boston in every way.
