About this campaign

In November, mail piled up at their home and a welfare check had been called.

Inside, their owner had been gone for 12 days. Outside were Bradford and Boss. Two bonded boys chained, with no food, no water, and inadequate shelter. For nearly two weeks, they waited. Hungry. Confused. Grieving.

With no local animal control, they were taken to an overcrowded rural shelter and placed in an outside run. Sick, malnourished, covered in fleas, and losing hair, they were at risk of euthanasia for space.

Lucky for them a miracle came along; a local police officer pleaded for their lives.

We knew we had to say yes. Now the real work begins.

Senior boy Boss has severe hair loss, brittle nails falling off, an untreated hip injury, and is painfully underweight. Bradford, the loving pitbull, has blistering skin infections and recently tested heartworm positive. Shortly after, the first round of vet visits, Bradford developed a painful hematoma. He is currently receiving emergency care to combat infection.

They survived 12 days alone. They survived losing their person. They survived the shelter. Now they need medical care, heartworm treatment, pain management, and time to heal.

Please donate today to help Bradford and Boss start over. Every dollar brings them closer to comfort, stability, and the second chance they deserve. Let’s not let their story end in heartbreak.

6/23/26 Update: Bradford has joined another rescue group
