About this campaign

I found Brandi through a friend of a friend on Facebook. Her parents were older and could no longer care for her. I offered to take her for a weekend to see how it would go and she never left. She chose me. It was apparent to all of my family that she had grown attached to me in that small amount of time. She is very much like my child and very spoiled.

Brandi loves squeaky toys, specifically her squirrel. She likes to squeak it in the middle of the night and wake mommy and daddy up. She loves her dinner mommy makes for her. For her treats, she shakes your hand, gives high five, begs, and kisses. She used to give mommy all her attention but now that daddy is here, she mainly sleeps on him and wakes him with kisses.

We live paycheck to paycheck and don’t have extra money laying around. We can’t afford this on our own. This was a completely unexpected expense. We don’t want to or like to ask for money, but we need help. Brandi didn’t ask for this. She doesn’t deserve this.

Brandi was injured on Tuesday but mommy and daddy didn’t know until they got home from work. She was by herself for at least 4 hours in pain before we discovered her injuries. We took her to a vet hospital where they said 3 toes are broken, the joint above is out, and ligaments torn. Dr. Heiser at Summit in Tacoma will be doing surgery on Tuesday 10/20.

Like most dogs, she doesn’t like the rain. She really doesn’t like snow. Mommy has to clear a path in the snow for her to go potty. She’s a funny girl! She loves when you throw her toy and she will bark at it while chasing it. She also likes to pay tug o war and growl at it. Grandpa says he’s revving her engine. She will sit on your phone and beg if you aren’t paying enough attention to her.
