About this campaign

We adopted Branson, a West Highland White Terrier, in June 2020 after he was returned to his breeder for having a malformed ear. We wanted our Cairn Terrier Miss Patmore, to have a companion, and we had extra love to give. Since joining our family, Branson has brought endless joy and courage despite the challenges he’s faced.

Branson was born with a congenital defect in his right ear canal, leading to years of infections and pain. After exhausting medical treatments, WSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital recommended a Total Ear Canal Ablation and Bulla Osteotomy. This major surgery is necessary to end his discomfort and finally give him a healthy, pain-free life.

Branson is gentle, loyal, and full of personality. He loves our Cairn Terrier, daily walks, and curling up beside us on the couch. He “talks” in little grumbles when excited and chases snowflakes like a puppy. Despite his constant ear pain, he greets everyone with tail wags and trust. His strength and sweetness have made him the heart of our home.

We’ve covered over $16,000 in Branson’s medical costs since 2020, including surgery, allergy treatment, and ongoing medication. As small business owners, we’ve faced slower months and rising expenses. This help would ease the financial strain and let Branson live the healthy
