Briar is a 6 year old Nebelung in Ringgold, VA, who needs $1,700 for Full Tooth Extractions.

We found Briar living in the briars at the dumpster. My 5 year old at the time affectionately named him Briar and he was diagnosed with FIV during his first vet visit. He has stomatitis in his teeth and gums and has a lot of pain and needs antibiotics often. We are told the only fix is a 2,000 extraction of all teeth. I am a single mom and I cannot afford this. Briar is a very gentle teddy bear.

Briar was diagnosed at Cherrystone Vet in Chatham VA. I have been told by both Animal Medical Center and Town and Country Vet in Danville Virginia his only way of relief will come from full extractions.

Briar lived a rough life at the dump but he is actually a big, gentle cuddle bug. I foster kittens and he has been a gentle big brother to many kittens. He has never shown aggression towards them, which means they were allowed to interact since FIV only spreads through deep bite wounds. He is so sweet and just wants to cuddle all the time.

I am a single mom raising my son alone and it would mean the world to me to have our sweet kitty healthy. He stays in pain and has a hard time eating sometimes. We would love to see what kind of life Briar could have if he was finally free from pain!
