About this campaign
I adopted Briggs when he was just 5 weeks old. He has always had a fun loving goofy personality since they day I picked him up! Briggs loves coming to work with me to doggy day care, dock diving competitions, being with his mom and brother and being included with everything.
All of Briggs life he has had his brother at home. They are attached at the hip. Briggs also loves interacting with all of my friends, family members and any of their kids that come over. First time he met a baby he put his head on the stroller and watched her for hours, never letting her out of sight.
Briggs learned how to speak by counting. This was not on purpose but this boy is so smart. I would count for him to jump into the pool, and he started to speak. This is how I found his love for dock diving. He is self taught and flies through the air. It is his absolute favorite thing to do.
Briggs fell resulting in a fractured right front humerus. I brought him to the veterinary hospital where it was determined with the way the bone fracture and where it fractured, it would need to be amputate in order for him not to be in excruciating pain. Upon the X-rays it was found that Briggs has osteosarcoma (bone cancer). The best option for treatment is to send his pathology to torejin
Briggs means the world to me. He has been with me for the last 9 years and he is not ready to give up without a fight. I have been trying to pull myself out of debt over the years and doing okay, but not enough for a loan for this amazing boys recovery from a tragic injury.
