Britz is a 9 year old German Shepherd Dog in Louisville, KY, who needs $650 for X-rays, Antibiotics, Testing.

Britz came into my life at one of the most amazing times of my life. His life was never dull. He held his own even 6 weeks from his Dobie brother and feline brother. His toys are his life, there will never be a time he will not have a ball. Home Depot and any drive thru is his favorite places to go, he makes sure people see him and never forget him.

Recently, he’s started to hurt, and I thought the worst…his hips…but his paws are swollen and he’s not wanting to be as active. Trips outside have become tough due to he doesn’t want to put weight on his back paws. He doesn’t get to chase his best friend right now and you can see that he’s missing his time.

Britz has never met anyone that isn’t his friend immediately. Always offering up his games to play and knows exactly how to get snacks and every bit of attention he wants. He helped me overcome a lot of struggles and continues to. He has changed the hearts of so many people. His heart is pure gold. The mailman is his favorite because he brings him treats daily.

I have had to ask my roommate to leave due to his choices in behavior and for britz’s and my safety. I have been trying to stay afloat the past 5 months on our own, but it’s all caught up to me and now when Britz needs me, I can’t be there for him.
