Brodie is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/ Bull Terrier in Bradenton, FL, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Brodie was born the little one of the litter, the size of the palm of my hand, we rescued him from an acquaintance, who was trying to sell him, but he kept being brought back. The previous owner was abusive, and as a last resort, the owner offered him to us. We already have a 4 legged loved one, and was unsure if we could afford to take on another. We took the chance!

Brodie has a 5-year-old Shelter rescued sister, that he plays with and lays with whenever he can. He lays with his mom and plys with his dad. He loves playing dress up and doesn't like when you drop his leash. lol He just sits and waits for you to pick it up.

Brodie is the absolute best, he has trust issues but loves his family, especially his 5-year-old sister sky! He knows when you are not feeling well and comforts you without hesitation, with kisses and putting his head in your lap. He loves the PeanutButter oatmeal stuffed bones his mom makes, chasing his sister outside in the grass, and baths.

Brodie was playing fetch with his dad when, he made a jump that did not land well. He was limping and holding his leg up instantly. We took him to the vet and that's when we found out he tore his ACL. The doctor said he needs surgery and will cost about $5k because of his active breed.

We unfortunately were not ready for an expense of this nature. We are already under financial strain due to an extremely bad car accident. which left us with medical problems. We would love to see Brodie back out playing with his sister and enjoying himself, as he cannot
