About this campaign
Bronco's life almost ended before it began. I rescued him and his littermates on the day they were to be euthanized and raised them by bottle. Bronco and his sister Sanibel stayed with me and my rescue animal family. Bronco has never left my side through every illness, surgery, and hard time. My sweet orange boy, known for his distinctive "pig nose," has been my shadow, always by my side;
Bronco is being treated at Veterinary Outpatient Specialists. He is a survivor who has already beaten mammary cancer several years ago.
In April, he lost his sister, Sanibel, to lymphoma. They had been inseparable their whole lives. After surviving so much together, Bronco is now facing another battle with cancer. I'm determined to give him every chance to keep fighting, just as he has before.
Since losing his sister Sanibel, Bronco has bonded even more with the dogs. As our last rescue kitty, he can often be found hanging out with them and even copying their behaviors. He's always ready for treats and scratches, is a devoted Broncos fan (whether he has a choice or not), and is the first to greet anyone who comes through the door. He's a social boy who wants to be part of everything.
After three years of cancer care for Sanibel, an unexpected car replacement depleted emergency funds. I work part-time while in grad school and an internship, and I'm seeking extra income wherever I can. I would never ask otherwise. Helping Bronco means more than I can say.
