Bronso’s life changed in an instant. This sweet dog was admitted to Baw Baw Animal Welfare after being hit by a vehicle, suffering painful and severe injuries that left him struggling to even stand. Despite the trauma, Bronso showed incredible strength—but it was clear he needed urgent medical intervention to survive and heal.

During his initial exam, Bronso was found limping on both his right front and back legs. X-rays revealed the full extent of the damage:

\- A complete fracture of his right humerus (front leg) - A complete fracture of his right tibia and fibula (back leg)

Two major fractures. Without surgery, Bronso would have faced unimaginable pain and little chance at recovery. Thanks to quick action from the veterinary team, he underwent critical surgery to repair both breaks—giving him a fighting chance at healing. But Bronso’s journey is far from over.

He now faces a long road to recovery that will include pain management, follow-up care, restricted movement, and careful monitoring to ensure his bones heal properly. His care is intensive—but absolutely necessary to give him the future he deserves.
