Our beloved girl came to us after a horrific start. She spent her first two years being hoarded and living in a rabbit hutch only being taken onto the ground to fight 24 other dogs for the scraps of butchered rabbits and chickens for food.

She has lived for 5 years with two siblings dogs who adore her. After coming from the stomach turning hoarding where she didn't have the muscle mass to walk she has enjoyed creating "safe" zones on the bed and sofa. Her earlier trauma left her about 85% dog but she is adored for the pretty princess that she is.

She is a gentle and sweet girl. Her favorite thing is to cuddle and feel safe. The most rewarding thing is to take her into the yard at night. The noises of the day are gone and she leaps and runs in the safety of the darkness. That is who she could have been but for one man's cruelty that damaged her forever.

She had surgery2 weeks ago where a blockage was removed from her intestine. Her intestine had also flipped and kinked.. A horrible and painful experience. She was almost 100% better yesterday morning. Then began vomiting and became listless again. She is back in hospital but needs tests and possible second surgery that we can't afford.

I suffer from leukemia and MS. Money is extremely tight. She is the calm and love that gets me through the day. I am devastated that I might have to end her life. I used my savings for the first surgery. I have nothing left but she needs, and deserves, so much more.
