About this campaign
If there is ever someone who needs a holiday miracle, it's Robert S. Waggle would like to share his heartbreaking story with you:
"Hi, my name is Robert. Thanks for taking the time to read about our troubles. We have a puppy. Her name is Brooke. She's a Shiba Inu. We got Brooke when my wife lost her dad back in September. We are still trying to catch up on bills, funeral costs, and everything else in between.
We have six kids. I work full-time as a construction worker. I try the best I can. Brooke is a very big part of my family. She's not just a dog. She's one of our children. She has helped my kids and wife heal mentally and emotionally.
My daughter took Brooke outside to potty when suddenly, she got free and jumped off our back porch. She has a broken leg, and I'm trying to do everything in my power to get her back to normal. She is spending most of her time in her kennel in pain. She does have pain meds. She just looks miserable and uncomfortable.
Before we got her, we all were going through a lot of grief. She makes everyone's day a whole lot better. She's happy, full of energy, and loves to dance when she's happy. She loves to cuddle at night and loves to be around our kids. She loves our Christmas decorations and drags them all over the house. Seeing my kids with her gives me hope.
I'm so confused about what I can do. I don't get paid until next week. That is far too long for her to suffer. I would be thankful and won't ask for anything else as long as I can have our fur baby back to her old self. Please, help! I'm asking from the bottom of my heart."
