Brooke is a 9-year-old Pit Bull Terrier in Nashville, TN, who needs $890 for Cancer Treatment.

Brooke was given to me by a friend. At the time my daughter had lost her father and was dealing with depression. Brooke is more than just a pet. She is an emotional support aid. I had a friend take Brooke in while I moved and when I got her back, she was ill. I am disabled so the treatment is not feasible. I just want to save my child so she may enjoy what years she has left.

Brooke is very active and loving to say the least. She is house trained and is a house dog with occasional outings. Brooke loves sunbathing on pretty days and playing with her toys. She is affectionate to anyone she comes in contact with. Brooke is an extended family member that is loved and cherished by all.

Brooke is beyond her years. She may have been Queen in another life. Her attentiveness is impeccable. She understands and obeys commands without having any professional training. She loves to sit on her butt an cross her legs (imitating human like characteristics) Brooke was very lively and active before now.

Recently found out that Brooke has cancerous cells that require emergency treatment and euthanasia is NOT an option. I just want to save my child so she may enjoy what years she has left. It hurts me to the core to even fathom living without Brooke. She means the world to us! And I want her to live life to the fullest!

I am on disability. My daughter works but is only able to assist some without taking away from my grandchild and their household. I have asked family and friends but unfortunately they're not in a financial position to assist me now. Any amount is greatly appreciated!
