Brownie is a rescue dog from the shelter. I knew the moment I met him that he was mine. Im never on time for anything. However, the day they told me I couldn't have him because it was closing time I knew I had to get up early the next day to be the first in line to bring him home. He has been through my side in tough times and I will be by his while he battles this cancer.

Brownie is not much of a fan for other dogs so he is my only one. He enjoys his daily walks and naps. He is always very playful with my grandchildren and part of our family.

Brownie has a special cheeseburger toy he loves to squeak and play fetch with. He is also an odd ball and enjoys eating ice and onions, but not mixed together.

Brownie is undergoing care at Old Farm Vetinary Clinic for melanoma if the lip. Originally I thought he was stung by a bee because hip lip swelled, but when it didn't go away I knew it was more serious. I took him tot he can't and was told it had to come off. In one week it grew 1 cm. We need to know if it is in his lymphnodes so thats why we are trying to get funds for testing.

I am disabled and Brownie is like a service dog to me. I have a limited income and want to keep him here as long as possible. He is my companion and helps reduce my anxiety. He makes me smile and laugh.
