Brownie is an 11-year-old American Bulldog in Tulsa, OK, who needs $1,790 for Parvo testing and treatment.

Brownie was given to me by a friend. We have been together for a year I would say. She’s always been my baby and my bed partner. She hates sleeping on the floor. She only likes to cuddle with me in bed. She is my very first pet, I’m new to the whole pet thing. My friend ask if I could give her a home since her landlord doesn’t allow pets. I immediately said yes. I named her Brownie because of her spots.

My baby girl loves the outdoors. She would spend hours and hours outside running around. I would chase her but get so worn out, her on the other hand would keep running and running like no tomorrow lol. She only sleeps in my room with me in bed. She hates the floor. She loves to cuddle when she sleeps. It’s my holding her that makes her sleep peacefully. She loves my family and relatives.

I lost my last job because I had Covid. Me and my whole family were infected with Covid so money has been very tight. I’m still trying to find work. The only money I make now is from sewing clothes for other people. It would mean the world to me for my baby to be strong again.

With the little money I had to bring with me to the vet, I couldn’t afford to pay for full diagnostics. But the way Brownie was looking I felt she needed treatment. So I asked the veterinarian to help me out and help me treat her within my budget. So he did. He gave her medicine for the vomiting and injected fluids because she was losing so much weight from throwing up and diarrhea.

To be honest toys don’t make her happy. She would play with them but it’s humans that make my baby girl go crazy. She loves children. My little cousins would play with her all the time. She would do this funniest noise with her nose when I pretend to ignore her. And her cutest and funniest thing would be putting her paw over her nose and face. She’s just the cutest thing ever.
