About this campaign
Brownie was born in my house and has never left my side since. We had both his mother and father and by accident we had a litter of puppies. His father was ill and we didn’t think his mom could get pregnant. We kept all 5 puppies that were born and took care of them all their lives. Brownie is my baby and a family member.
Brownie is a family member in our household and is very spoiled by us. He does not ever get left alone and someone is always with him. He is well feed and only eats home cooked meals. He runs like a little horse when he gets excited to see my family or me come home even if we only left him 5 minutes earlier. He loves attention and spreads his legs and lifts his paw when he wants be petted.
Brownie loves to sleep on his back with his bag legs spread open. He also will open his legs up to expose his tummy so he can get tummy rubs. He digs up his bed with his blanket so he gets it exactly how he wants it. He will not eat out of a dog bowl instead he eats like he is human off a plate. Brownie also loves to chase lizards and cats.
Brownie recently went for Perianal mass removal while it was being removed the surgeon found a melanoma on his tonsil that was removed. He had prior melanoma that was removed and didn’t return for over 2 years. He now needs several melanoma vaccines over the next few months to keep him as healthy as possible. Animal Cancer Care Clinic Is going to begin treatment with Dr. Camps.
We are low income family and I help take care of my disabled parents that live with me. Unfortunately Brownie had to have a surgery recently and his brother just passed away 3 weeks ago. This has caused a lot of financial strain due to the ongoing vet bills.
