About this campaign

Bruce, Bruce, Bruce. We adopted Bruce as a puppy back in 2019, and we haven’t had a dull day since. He is an Alaskan/ Siberian Husky mix. He’s been a part of our family for the past 5 years, and he has filled our days with his affection, love, and energetic personality.

We became concerned when Bruce stopped eating and refused food, even his favorites. His eyes/gums were pale yellow, and our local vet referred him to the Animal Emergency Hospital in Byron Center. After an ultrasound, it has been determined that Bruce’s gallbladder is enlarged, and we concerned about a Mucus block. The vet is strongly advising he needs his gallbladder removed.

Bruce is such a goofy, loving, energetic pup. He’s always down for a walk or lounging around the house. He loves to play with the neighborhood cats, and wants to greet everyone he meets. He is so loving and protective of the kids, and loves cleaning up any food that may fall on the floor.

This medical emergency hit us unexpectedly, we do not have the available funds for the $9,000+ medical bills. Just 2 weeks ago, Bruce was his normal self, and he quickly declined due to his pain. This surgery would strongly help us bring our boy back to his vibrant self.
