  Update on Our Sweet Bruno
  
  We wanted to give everyone an update on our boy.
  
  Bruno’s appointment went well today, and for that, we are incredibly grateful. The doctors decided that he does not need X-rays today. Instead, they want to wait another two weeks and do them at his next appointment. Thankfully, those X-rays will be included in his follow-up visit.
  
  We did learn that, unfortunately, not all of Bruno’s medications are included in his treatment costs. He now needs medicine three times a day, and those ongoing prescriptions are an additional expense we must continue covering while he heals. His veterinary bills, follow-up care, and medications are adding up quickly, but we will continue doing everything we can to give him the best chance at recovery.
  
  One of the hardest parts right now is keeping him still.
  
  Bruno LOVES being outside. He wants to run, play, explore, and be the happy, crazy boy he was before his injury. But as much as it breaks our hearts, he simply cannot run right now. His leg is still in such a critical stage of healing, and even one wrong jump, twist, or burst of excitement could set him back.
  
  So for now, our sweet boy has to spend most of his time in his crate.
  
  If you know puppies, you know how difficult that is for them. Bruno just looks at us with those eyes like, “Why can’t I go outside?” And honestly, there are moments when it breaks us.
  
  But we keep reminding ourselves that this is temporary. Every day he stays still is another day closer to walking normally again. Every dose of medicine, every quiet day, and every moment he spends resting is another step toward getting our boy back.
  
  We know this journey has been long, and we know we have asked for so much help. We cannot put into words how incredibly thankful we are to every person who has donated, shared Bruno’s story, checked on him, prayed for him, or simply sent us a message of encouragement.
  
  We are still taking this one day at a time. His veterinary bills and medication costs are ongoing, and any donation—no matter the amount—would help us continue paying for the care he needs. If you are unable to donate, sharing Bruno’s story would mean just as much and could help us reach someone who can.
