We only had Bruno in our lives for 3 1/2 months. A friend of a friends dog had a litter of 8 and Bruno was the last of the litter so we graciously took him in.

Bruno got so excited to greet our pizza delivery driver that he jumped, fell, and and heard him yelp so loud and started to limp. We rushed him to Barton Heights hospital at the first immediate opening , praying it was something minor that we could manage, but the news was devastating: Bruno needed surgery. He fractured his hind tibia. The break was too severe for casting.
