About this campaign
Bruno came home to us on November 21st, 2021. My dad found him and another baby puppy in someone’s backyard in crates in the freezing cold in a different state. My dad argued with the family to let the puppies go since they weren’t being cared for and they finally agreed to give them up. My dad brought them back home to MD, when 2 days later, one of the puppies got parvo then Bruno got it as well.
Bruno loved playing with our other 2 dogs, he was full of life and energy. Even though we was with us for about a week, both puppies brought happiness to our home. When the other puppy was still available, Bruno LOVED to cuddle him and became the best of friends. If Benny went up the stairs, Bruno would be right behind, even if it took him a little longer to get up one stair.
When Bruno wants to play, he spins around a couple times and thinks he has the loudest bark to play, it’s the funniest thing! He loved picking up toys bigger than him and would drag them everywhere! Having Bruno back for Christmas would warm our hearts again especially our other dogs since they sit by the door waiting for him to come back.
Bruno is currently battling parvovirus. He has only been with us for a week so we weren’t sure if he had been vaccinated yet. Bruno went from being a high energetic puppy to becoming sluggish and not wanting to eat. He was admitted about 2 days ago and he is being treated by Lake Forest Animal Hospital, but we want him to get everything he possibly needs to be able to come home.
Bruno was an unexpected arrival to us, but we could not leave him there alone outside in the cold. We’re doing our best to pay for it but it is very difficult to come up with the money.
