About this campaign
When I met my late fiance Ryan almost 10 years ago he had the most adorable dog, a pug named Bruno, he was about a year old. He was the softest dog I had ever felt. He was the sweetest and most cuddly dog anyone could imagine. I fell in love with both of them and 3 three of us were inseparable from the very beginning. When Ryan passed away at 40 in 2020 all I had left was Bruno and a baby
Bruno has gone everywhere with me since the very moment we met. When my daughter was born he wouldn't leave her side. A few months later my partner Ryan passed away and I was left with an infant and Bruno. He was a great source of comfort for me. He knew his daddy was gone, but he stayed faithfully by my side. As my daughter grew they became the best of friends.
Bruno loves to talk. He's so vocal and speaks back when I talk to him. He tilts his head and listens to everything you have to say. He loves to snuggle in bed under the covers with my 4 year old. He sits on my lap and knows when I'm feeling sad. He's the first one by my side. He carries on conversations with barks and yelps. His big eyes are full of emotion and so much love.
We aren't even sure what's wrong with Bruno. About 6 weeks ago he started having diarrhea. It won't go away. It literally falls out of him. I took him to Affordable Veterinary Care in Finleyville. They gave him some meds and tested his stool. I spent $200 I don't have on the first visit. That didn't work, he got worse and I brought him back for an X-ray. $200 more dollars and more meds. No results
I can't even afford more testing for him to find out what's even wrong. He's stuck in the kitchen because he poops everywhere. I can't let us all live like this because I can't afford to help him. I'm a single mother and he's part of the family. I work but barely make ends m
