Bruno is a 6-year-old German Shepherd in Winston-Salem who needs $2,000 for Heart Condition.

Our dog Bruno came to us 3 months ago as a gift from a family friend who was trying to find loving homes for the second litter of puppies from the mother. He was born outside but he has a permanent place in our home. He is a German Sheppard white in color. Bruno is 1 of 11 and is now a part of our family that we all love and cherish.

Bruno is an active loving playful puppy. He loves to play with his squeaky toys and have his back scratched while he is being rubbed. He sleeps in the room with our sons his brothers they are inseparable. He has definitely made a lasting impression on our family and our sons hearts. We have a 3 yr old and Bruno is his protector.

Bruno loves to get wet whether its bath time or playing in the lawn sprinkler when he is outside. He has the most inquisitive face when he sees someone doing something different, gets a new squeaky or chew toy to play with. He loves to cuddle also we are trying to figure out where he learned to cuddle from like that because if you have a seat youll always have someone to sit with you in him.

We noticed 2 weeks ago that Bruno seemed to be breathing heavier then normal which was out of the ordinary because he was not running or playing he simply drank some water from his bowl & walked to his spot he likes to lay in our living room floor. we scheduled an appointment at his vet & that's when we found out that our beloved Bruno has a life threatening heart condition, treatable but costly.

We had an unexpected financial loss due to life events. It would mean the absolute world to us & our boys to know that we would have our life changing pet with us much longer. We have been told the only other option & we couldn't bare to tell our boys that Bruno is gone away
