Let me tell you when my Brutus came I to my life, it was May 17th, 2020, I was going to take a bus to meet a friend and overheard a lot of horns blowing and braking. I looked over on the main street and witnessed a little fella, we caught eye contact and he proceeding to cross the street safely and head towards my direction, it was a very hot day, I was able to lasso him with a belt.

Brutus loves naps, every night he shares our bed with us either under the covers or over anywhere where he can snuggle and keep warm. Hès our only fur baby. Hès the only dog I've known that actually loves baths. Hès more of a lover but will do random walks I the evening.

He's never met anyone that has not fallen for his sweet demeanor and charismatic physique. He has a thing that we call swirling.... where he will swirl his head on you, on your back on a pillow anywhere he can swirl his head to show he's happy. One time he swirled so hard he fell off the couch. No harm done!

Brutus needs surgery to remove growth inside his bottom. It's curable but needs it soon so no more growth will develop and may not be a candidate for surgery. We found a great vet that will do his surgery called Midland Animal Clinic in Poway Ca. Dr Norman Switzer would be his surgeon and he has excellent reviews!

I am currently unemployed but am finishing a Medical Coding and Billing Certificate thru Purdue Global and financial aid has helped me. My fiancée has a fixed income, and we have housing assistance so the cost of the vet would not be anything we can afford anytime soon.
