Brynnlee is a 5-year-old Blue Tick Hound in Hilliard, FL, who needs $2,000 for urgent cancer surgery.

When Paw Paws Animal Rescue rescued Brynnlee, they were shocked! Large, cancerous mammary gland tumors covered her entire chest. One was so big it dragged on the ground.

She needed surgery to remove the tumors. "They were so widespread she needed 100 staples to close her abdomen area. Her incision covered her entire underside from her chest to her tail. We can't imagine the immediate relief she felt once those heavy tumors were removed," Michele H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle.

But unfortunately, Bynnlee's road to recovery didn't end there.

After surgery, she had complications, including a build-up of fluid that was so horrendous she needed a drain. She has now spent more than 28 days at the animal hospital.

"She is receiving the best around-the-clock care and pain relief. She is in the best place to avoid infections and the opening of her incision," Michele says.

Despite all Brynnlee has been through, she is always wagging her tail and has the most loving and relaxed personality. She will be the most wonderful companion for a family once she heals and fully recovers.
