Bubba is a 12 year old American Shorthair in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $4,000 for Fine Needle Aspirate, Aerobic/Anaerobic Cultures.

Bubba is our beautiful, orange American Shorthair fur baby whom we adopted along with his sister in 2014, the year my husband and I married. He was our first baby, the first time we had a precious little life we were responsible for. We fell in love with him the moment we met him, as he crawled up my husbands jacket and nestled onto his shoulder. He’s been with us through all of life’s phases.

Beginning in 2025, Bubba began experiencing Pancreatitis flareups, which have since been diagnosed as Triaditis; a chronic inflammation of the bowel, pancreas and liver. Bubba requires fine needle aspiration of affected organs to determine the cause for these flareups. Hospitals involved in his treatment have so far been: Vegas Valley/Majestic Park (sister clinics) and Veterinary Emergency Group.

It is impossible to describe the magnitude of Bubbas place within our family. He was there when we brought each of our three children home from the hospital, snuggling in and solidifying his bond with each of them so quickly and gently. He has been an incredibly therapeutic presence for our two children on the Autism spectrum, and is our 5 year olds best friend. He is our baby, our soul cat.

Bubbas recent increase in flareups has made it very difficult to plan financially for his ongoing treatment. His last bout cost us several thousands, and the cost of updated diagnostic imaging coupled with the fine needle aspiration and possible biopsies is astronomical.
