Hi, my name is Dezarae. My dogs name is Bubba. I rescued him from a girl living on the streets. He lost his mom so he was very malnutritioned and had worms. I saved his life and he became my little buddy, tagging along with me everywhere I went, so I named him buddy but later started calling him Bubba and thats what sticked. He lives with myself and my 3 children ages 10, 12, and 13.

Bubba is just like one of my children. A very human like dog. He has lived with me for 6 and a half years. He sleeps mostly in my bed with me. He does go to the kids rooms and sleeps with each one at least 15 minutes just checking up on them and then returns to my room. Hes very caring and a protector of my children and our household.

I have used up all our savings paying $7,319.68 so far, and still owing $1000 by Sept. 3rd 2020 on a promissary note from the veterinary hospital. Now I have to pay $4,000 more so they could remove his hind leg before the infection spreads to the rest of his body.

A few weeks ago My Bubba was out in our yard just playing around, peeing and smelling things like he usually does, when 3 other pitbulls jumped our fence and came into our yard and attacked him. I then took him to the emergency. He had to stay over a week there. And goes a few times a week for bandage changes. Now his hind leg has to be amputated to save his life.

Bubba has the most amazing personality. I swear he understands everything we say. He occasionally will sit down on a chair at the kitchen table like a human wanting to eat like us too. He uses his paws alot like they were hands. He tries to copy all human things we do. He wasnt raised around other dogs so he has alot of human characteristics. He will even copy the way my boyfriend lays on the bed.
