About this campaign
His name is Bubba, and he is the kind of dog that makes you believe everything is going to be okay just by walking into the room. He is four years old, a Pit Bull Mix with a tan and white coat and a personality bigger than he knows what to do with. He loves every person he meets, he never leaves my side, and he has been one of the greatest sources of joy and comfort in my life.
Bubba, a 4-year-old Pit Bull Mix, was diagnosed with complete cruciate ruptures in both rear legs and bilateral hip osteoarthritis on April 20, 2026, by Dr. Schwarz at the Animal Medical Center of Lubbock, TX. He is dragging his rear leg and can barely walk. TPLO surgery is required immediately.
Bubba is the kind of dog who makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk through the door. He is gentle, loving, and completely devoted to our family. Despite being a large dog, he has always been soft and calm around people, which is a testament to his sweet nature. He follows me from room to room, stays close when he senses I am stressed, and has a way of making hard days feel easier.
I am a single mother doing gig work while searching for full-time employment after finishing my degree. I was denied financing and cannot afford the $5,300 surgery alone. Getting Bubba healthy again means everything. It means he gets his life back, and so do we.
