About this campaign
We adopted Tyson, the day before his euthanasia date. We brought our Petey to meet him at the shelter, and they got along great! Petey is definitely the alpha. After we got home we were calling "Tyson", but he didn't know that was his name. So we started calling him Bubba, and he truly seemed to adore his new name. He will actually smile when you call out Bubba. Well Bubba slowly got adjusted to living in a home, At first he would not go through a doorway, he was terrified of brooms, plastic trash bags, squirrels, birds, almost everything! Bubba is afraid of loud noises, I have to put him in the bedroom with the TV at just the right volume in order for me to vacuum the living room, I can't even bring the vacuum out until he is safely tucked away in my bedroom with a treat and the TV on the perfect volume. Petey, slowly and assuredly started showing Bubba the ropes. Bubba soon mastered the doggie door, and he learned to cuddle, all of these were first done by Petey. You know when Bubba is confused, he looks for Petey :) When Bubba came to live with us, we knew he was an owner surrender, that's all we knew. We have discovered Bubba was seriously abused and malnourished. Bubba has learned how to cuddle, and that is what he likes to do the most. Bubba, is so protective of me, his Mom. If I'm in the bedroom and (Bubba is constantly by my side) my husband walks into the bedroom,Bubba growls, I guess to let my husband know, don't start nothing and there won't be nothing. Then Bubba throws his paw up for a good shake.
