Bubba is a 1-year-old Sharp Pei in Miami, FL, who needs $1,100 for Blepharoplasty.

Bubba came to me from a old high school friend who found him wandering around her neighborhood. Her neighbors say they had seen him wandering around for a few weeks and were feeding him but never managed to capture him. Once my friend managed to capture him she took him to the vet to check for a chip only to find he originally was from Tampa but all other info about him or the owner was gone.

When he finally came to me he was just flesh and bone with two badly infected eyes and a fear so great I never thought he would recover. But after just a few days of having him by Day 3 he easily warmed up to me and started being playful with me despite being so scared and in a unfamiliar area. He is super playful with my mom and my little brother as well as his toys who he so obsessed with.

In such a short amount of time bubba opened himself up to me despite not knowing me or my family. He has so much love to give for a dog who was abandoned by his owners and left to starve on the streets. The energy he resonates around the room would put a smile to your face and I feel like my family has been closer due to his presence.

When Bubba first came to me he was extremely skinny, ribs and spine exposed and two badly infected eyes. Due to his eye condition he is blind on his left eye and the only good remaining one is still swollen and infected even with proper medication provided from my local vet. He needs a very helpful yet very expensive surgery to finally get rid of the cause of his infected which is his eye flaps.

I want to provide Bubba a loving and caring home for him and allow him to be the happiest most energetic dog he truly is without the burden of his eye condition stopping him from being his true self.
