About this campaign

When a veterinarian says those dreaded words, "Your dog has cancer," time stops. Your head spins. You vow to do all you can to help your pet. Then you get hit with the bills.
Danelle B. is trying to deal with that agonizing situation right now. Her beloved dog, Bubba, is battling cancer right now. His diagnosis was shocking, especially since he is so young.

"Bubba had a baseball-size tumor along with a foot of his small intestine removed about a month ago, and we just got the results back that he has lymphoma, and it has spread throughout his lymph nodes," she tells Waggle. The unexpected expense has drained her bank account and racked up thousands of dollars in bills.

Danelle says Bubba is such a gem, so friendly and welcoming to everyone. Chemotherapy is the only treatment that will save him. Danelle and Bubba are so thankful for any assistance. "Please help me save Bubba's Life," Danelle pleads.

Danelle rescued the cute Mastiff when he was just nine weeks old. "He had the brightest green eyes and sweetest personality," she adds. "I went to an adoption event at a local PetSmart and fell in love immediately. Initially, when I first took him home, I wanted to give him a strong name like Thor or King, but I couldn't help it when Bubba would come so naturally. He is now Bubbies or Bubba Lou."

"I was only able to afford the emergency surgery with credit cards, and help from my mom and dad. After already spending over $7,000, I am in a position where I can no longer afford further treatment without help," Danelle says.
Bubba now needs eight rounds of chemotherapy and is being treated by Dr. Oberthaler at Treeline Veterinary Office in Boulder, CO.
