Bubbie is a 5-year-old English Bulldog in San Antonio, TX, who needs $346 for urgent eye surgery.

Bubbie and his human mom, Kathleen, a disabled veteran, and cancer survivor, need your help this holiday season.

Kathleen rescued Bubbie years ago after he lived a life that was so terrible his teeth were ground to nubs on his lower jaw. But now, Bubbie needs urgent eye surgery to save his vision.

Bubbie has cherry eyes, a condition where his eyelids rub against his cornea, causing severe irritation and, in Bubbie's case, an infection.

When Horn's K9 Rescue found out Kathleen could not afford Bubbie's surgery to correct this, they stepped in to help raise the money.

"His eyesight was diminishing," Kaz S., with the group, tells Waggle. "Bubbie loves to play ball even though he can't see it very well. He has special balls for blind dogs that flash or smell like mint so that he can find them."
