About this campaign
We got Buck as a puppy 4 years ago. We’ve had springer spaniels many years and adding him was the best thing we did. He had 2 brothers, one crossed the rainbow bridge in May at almost 12 years old. Buck lives with a huge family. There are 12 of us total. He gets much love and attention and is usually very energetic.
Everyone loves Buck. He’s usually happy and energetic. He’s a family dog and loves everyone. Some say he’s part cat because he chases birds and tries to catch mice. Before he wasn’t feeling well, he ran laps in the yard a few times every day. Lately he has not been himself but we aren’t sure why.
We just lost our 12 year old springer in May. It was a hard time for our family. The little kids kids didn’t quite understand and they are close with Buck so it would devastate them if something were to happen.
We have no idea what happened to him. He was outside and yelped. He hasn’t been the same since, acting as if he’s in pain but still wagging his tail and eating and going out. He was outside with another dog and we're unsure if they were playing and since he’s smaller he got hurt. It’s unlike him to act like this.
Usually when you open the back door Buck takes off and runs “laps” in the yard. He is very loving and “busy”. Last week something happened and he hasn’t been himself. He is acting like he’s in pain and we aren’t quite sure why. He is still eating and going out. Still wags his tail, but he just isn’t himself.
