About this campaign

Bucky is a 5 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi who lives with me and my husband, our 2 daughters (ages 11 and 8), 3 cats, and “brother from another corgi mother” Chip (3.5). He spends his days supervising me as I work from home and makes sure I take breaks for walkies, fetch, and belly rubs.

Bucky was experiencing pain and lameness in his hind legs. Despite meds and rest, his appetite decreased, thirst increased, and began vomiting. Bloodwork shows extremely high white blood cell count and low platelets. Bucky is currently in surgery to possibly remove his spleen and determine if he has any masses in his abdomen

Bucky is the sweetest guy ever and
my shadow. He loves playing ball with his corgi brother, but only runs along side and lets Chip fetch the ball. Bucky is a cuddler. Every night when I sit on the couch, he hops up and lays on my lap. He loves belly rubs. He is my school board campaign mascot and comes to events with me to get loved on.

Our other corgi Chip dislocated his front left elbow and needed 2 rounds of treatment and therapy which depleted our savings. Bucky is my soul dog. He is my constant companion and I love him so much. 5 years hasn’t been long enough and Bucky has so much love to give.
