Bud is a 10 year old Labrador Retriever in Chattanooga, TN, who needs $1,000 for Vetsulin and Prescription Dog Food.

Bud currently lives with spunk with his two other brothers. He get his name from a childhood dog who passed away when I was seven from heartworms(buddy). He loves playing with his toys and will fetch whatever you can throw including empty plastic bottles. He was born in Arkansas and we traveled halfway to bring him back home here in Chattanooga Tennessee.

Bud was diagnosed with diabetes roughly two years ago and hasn’t been able to find a manageable range for his glucose, even at 21 units of insulin. Because of this he has lost one eye and currently is dealing with glaucoma and cataracts in his other eye. Thankfully his doctors at hwy 58 animal hospital and Chattanooga eye specialist have taken good care of him whenever there an emergency.

Bud is a very special case due to the start of his diabetes he was in ketosis. He has thankfully back to his normal wait and loves bouncing around the house especially around dinner time and play time. He loves getting attention and will comfort just about anyone he meets.

We have been able to afford a lot with the help of family but reoccurring expense have become to much of a burden for having to decide between us eating or him . Any help is greatly appreciated as bud has been like our child.
