Buddy is a 3-year-old American Short Hair Cat in Atlanta, GA, who needs $2,000 for Immediate Surgery to Repair a Broken Pelvis.

My little Buddy was born with his sister on my front porch by a feral cat during a freezing winter. I felt sorry for them so, I built them a shelter to keep warm and fed them. Well they never left and stole my heart. They got brave enough to come inside and ended up adopting them. My apts tried to trap them so, I moved with my 2 other cats where he had a house and a whole yard to play in.

Buddy is a super vocal cat. I could always hear him coming. Inside I could hear him meowing from next door. So, I would go outside and call him and he'd come running meowing the whole way. Every sunrise with the same meow would let me know it's breakfast time. He's a sweetheart that loves cuddles and hugs. He'd curl up in my lap or arms and would want me to hug him and pet him till he fell asleep.

His favorite was catnip and his scratch box he couldn't get enough. He would play on it with his fish that flopped around for hours until he fell asleep. Seeing him so happy would always warm my heart knowint I gave him a better life. And Buddy always made me smile when he meowed from his new napping spot when he saw me get home from work.

My poor Buddy somehow was able to crawl back home with injuries to both back legs after being missing for a week. Buddy has been diagnosed with a broken pelvis by North Georgia veterinary specialist. Where he needs immediate surgery to be able to walk again. With this surgery Buddy could live a normal life. Without the surgery considering his quality of life would sadly have to be euthanized.

I live paycheck to paycheck working 7 days a wk and barely pay my bills. I've rescued 3 other cats and have unexpected vet bills to save their lives as well that was thousands. The surgery is estimated at $7000 and can't afford it. I have already spent $2000 on him so far.
