Buddy is a 7-year-old Lab/pit mix Dog in Bay Shore , NY, who needs $1,800 for For poison ingestion.

We adopted our Buddy Boy from North Shore Animal Hospital ge was a rescue from Tennessee. On March 1st 2015. He was in his cage and made eye contact with ny husband. It was love at first sight. We filled out paperwork and brought him home. He has a huge backyard that he loves to run in with his dog BFF Sophia whom he plays & sleeps with everyday.

Buddy is a dog with many quirks. He hates water, and loud noises. But he is our boy. He will run in the yard with our other dog Sophia and lay out in the sun . He will try and be a lap dog whenever he can. When we go to bed he will be the last 1 to come up. He is the protector. He will sleep up again our door. Like he is making sure we are safe.

Buddy has a side kick. He name is Sophia. Buddy will steal her stuffed animal to get her to play. He hates the pool. If Sophia gets close to the water he will yell (bark loudly) at her. If he hears you raise your voice he will run out of the room. He loves chasing the animals in the yar. Also loves far rides and taking walks. He loves being around us at all times.

While cleaning out a cabinet I moved a bag of Tom Cat mouse bait. I put it on a table in our back room. Didn't think he would orcould grab it.. I was wrong so very wrong. He ripped the bag apart and ate the baits.he is now in VMCLI EMERGENCY Hospital. the cost of care is close to 10K we have already paid 1/2 that. They are treating him.

My husband is on SSI disability I only work. I am selling my car to help because we do have other bills to pay. Have to still eat and keep lights on. Life here without Buddy is so hard to imagine.
