About this campaign
Buddy was found on a cold winter night in Indiana. He was 20 lbs when we got him and was full of fleas and ticks. We bought him home and he started to calm down and after a few nights of touch and go he started to trust. We went to the vet and they said it looked like he was used as a bait dog. He marks all over his body, but even with all that it never broke his love for animals and people
Buddy get free roam of the house and sleep mostly on his favorite dog bed that my dad aka his grandpa got him. He loves being part of everything and has a very loving and positive personality. He loves to be by us at all time but mostly his mom. He loves grandpa the most he sits outside with him and just checks up on him all the time.
Buddy likes to dance. He knows when to use it as well. He does a little tippy toes tap dance. Where he will shake his head. He loves to talk as well mostly when he is playing with his toy or with us. He also likes to try to do goofy things to try to get your attention and to get you to smile every if you're down.
Buddy started to show a bump on his back side. At first we gave him some Benadryl for maybe an a reaction to something. So we made an vet appointment and they thought it was his glands, but when we got there and once they got a good look and feel and it quickly turned to being an hernia. They said it requires surgery.
We are a low income family that can afford basic needs, but the extra money goes mostly towards buddy to keep him healthy and up to date. We saved up and we have some of the money, but the surgery cost around 5 thousand. We need help to try to help our poor baby.
