Buddy is a 4 year old Golden Retriever in Newnan, GA, who needs $2,000 for CCL Surgery, Cranial Cruciate Ligament Repair.

Buddy lives with me and Nutella (his dog bff). Both of them were brought to me as puppies by my daughters ex-boyfriend. He helps me stay grounded when i have anxiety and I try to do the same for him when there are fireworks or thunder. He has really bad anxiety with those. He loves his squeaky toys and his green rubber balls. He loved chasing his green ball. I hope he can do it again one day.

Buddy has had xrays at Southeastern Veterinary Surgery Center where they verified he has a torn CCL which requires surgery. I'm hoping to get it done before his other one tears from how he has to walk.

He has the same anxiety issues I have. He hates fireworks, thunder and gunshots. He hides under my legs to stay safe. He likes to get his bbf, Nutella, to scratch his back and play with the squeaky toys. He spends a lot of time looking out the front window waiting on a reason to bark.

I actually had the money saved for his surgery a couple of months ago. I ended up in the hospital for 10 days with perforated diverticulitis. That put me behind financially as I was out of work for 3 weeks with no pay. It's hard to see him suffer limping and unable to run.
