Buddy is a 11-year-old Himalayan/Siamese Mix Cat in PHOENIX, AZ, who needs $1,000 for Treatment for Brown Recluse Bite to Face.

Buddy came into my life as a very sick friend had to leave the state and couldn't take him with him. Buddy's name was Kitty I believe but my husband and I decided Buddy was better because he just clung to us for buddy love. He has always been a great cat & he loved us long before we ever took him into our home. He looks big, but he is really a fur ball of love. He is one of 3 cats & 2 dogs rescued

Buddy loves his other siblings and even tho his size looks big, he doesn't take a lead role. He is gentle with all. He was always affectionate giving little lick/kisses here and there. But after he recovered from a huge trauma with a Brown Recluse Spider, roughly 17 months ago, he has become overly passionate. He gets up in my face and gives me cheek kisses & snuggles all the time. Long recovery!

Dr. Toben has been so great with him when he needs anything, he will just let Dr. do it. He never got anesthesia for anything Dr. Toben did,. Hosp 2 weeks, visits every other day for months then weekly for over a year. His eyelid never recovered, won't close & we think he may be totally blind that eye. He sometimes scratches his eye, but I treat with dry eye drops to keep from infection.

Today Buddy has scratched the upper previously healed wound and his eye/eyelid. Scratch this time is really bad & I think he needs med attention again. The meds I have had on hand for head and eye have dwindled, and don't seem to be working this time around. And now he is hiding the past couple days so I can't treat it like I would like. Got a couple pics last night, last few showing new scratch.

Disabled widow on a fixed income who has rescued animals for years. Buddy has been th| only one who has med issues. As of today 1/13 he is back hospitalized. Infection now in sinus & eye from scratching. Need help to get him back healthy!
