About this campaign
We adopted Buddy from Petsmart in South Sacramento about 8 months ago. He was a rescue who had been found abandoned in his cat carrier in the middle of a field left for dead until a good samaritan heard his crying and saved him. We brought him home and we immediately fell in love with him. His personality is unique, unlike any other cat we've ever met.
Buddy as I said before has one of the most interesting and fun while very curious at the same time. His best friend is our 9-month-old chihuahua puppy, Diego. They wrestle and take turns goosing each other while distracted. He isn't necessarily the most cuddly kitty in the world as he loves to bat you with his paw as you cross his path. He also is very vocal when it's breakfast and dinner time.
We both are unemployed and our financial assistance has recently run out leaving us with no other option than to seek help through crowdfunding as a last resort in an attempt to save our cat's life.
Buddy currently has an intestinal blockage that requires immediate medical treatment. It's causing him to be extremely lethargic and he's frequently vomiting bile which smells like poop due to the blockage. He is being treated at Vista Animal Hospital on Greenhaven Dr in South Sacramento. I don't know the name of the vet specifically treating him.
Buddy is a fool for his "temptation" cat treats. River, to keep Buddy busy, will throw his treats around random places in our house to watch him go nuts searching for them. Even our puppy gets involved in the fun. His love for boxes is hilarious as well. I've never met a cat like him and don't think I ever will again.
