Buddy is a 6-year-old German Shepard/Husky Mix in San Antonio, TX, who needs $2,000 for TLPO Surgery.

Buddy has been in my life since he was 3 months old. He's a germen shepherd/Husky mix. He was given to us by a friend he was the last one of the litter and the runt. Buddy has always been active and curious a dog.

Buddy is a great protector. He enjoys when the family comes over to visit, he knows he has grandma's and grandpa's that love him to pieces. Buddy has a best friend named Charles. He listens to him more than us.

Buddy is very special to us. He's loving in his own way. He's always there for us when we're feeling down or sick. When he wants your attention, he will place his paw on my foot or leg. When he's happy he loves belly rubs. Buddy can be feeling sick and in pain, but he keeps going. He's very strong.

This will be Buddy's second surgery for a ACL tear. The first one was in 2021 on his left back leg. He was able to fully recover. We were told that the possibility of him injuring the other leg was likely. He injured his right back leg and was confirmed that he tore his ACL which requires a TLPO surgery. He will be treated at The Texas Veterinarian Hospital.

I've noticed the past month that he's not active and is in extreme pain. I currently just started a new position. I need assistance with the cost of the surgery. Any help would be appreciated.
