my grandmother found buddy originally roaming the streets of California by himself as just a tiny gray and white little kitten who was hungry lost and looking for love. My grandmother, being the rescuer, she was, took in this tiny kitten & proceeded on her trip across the country. She named him “Buddy” because he quickly became her designated travel buddy . Unfortunately my grandmother passed away

Buddy came in to our life after the tragic passing of my Grandmother. We have never before owner a cat before Buddy. We refer to buddy as the man of our house and constant loverboy. He is the only boy in a house of 5 ladies. Buddy can always be found sitting like a king purring like he is in “catnip land”. He is the cutest and sweetest boy and shows us everyday the joys of being a cat mom.

Buddy has been the greatest light in my life since my Grandmothers passing. Buddy continues to remind me of the importance of family and faith. Every morning we are greeted with extremely loud purrs and about 15 pounds of love snuggles right into the neck. He continues to make me smile everyday with his little quirks and curiosity.

we took buddy into the veterinary emergency office on May 5 and was informed that our boy had a urinary blockage that if not treated would be fatal. Our veterinarian has done an amazing job so far and we are very happy with the progress they have made on our boy!

With almost half of my family passing away within a two year span, it has been none shy of constant grief and struggle. Between burials, services, and low having 2 additional animals to provide for, the load became overbearing quickly.
