Buddy is a 7-year-old Great Dane in Wethersfield, CT, who needs $2,000 for CCL (Cranial Cruciate Ligament) repair.

My name is Margaret I'm 44 a single mother of 2 . We rescue Buddy as a puppy from Shelter 7 yrs ago. He is very full of energy Great Dane who loves to run and play with his little brother toy dachshund they are inseparable. they were both adapted in SC from shelter. Buddy is gentle giant who is the always center of attention in our house.

Buddy is cattle bug he loves to sleep in bed with us, but since the injury of tearing his ACL in his knee he can't jump up on the bed any more or takes his walks.
last year Buddy torn his back ACL in his right leg which put our family in big debt! Unfortunately we cant afford the 2nd surgery that is why we asking for help so we can help Buddy with his second surgery. I am single mom of 2 children unfortunately cant not afford 2nd emergency surgery this moment because I still paying off the debt of his 1st surgery that cost us $5800.

Buddy had 1st surgery 5/7/2020 which he recover well he has full function of his leg back. This will be Buddy's 2nd surgery for CCL repair on his left knee which we hope he can have as soon as possible so he don't have to put all his weight on his fixed leg. the injury is also painful he takes pain meds while he waits for his 2nd surgery.

Buddy bring a lot of joy to our family even thought he is a lot of work but we love him to death:) We don't imagine our house with our him. He loves his regular walks to the dog parks and rides in the car that he adores. Buddy always wait for his little brother Brownie to finish eating then he takes his turn.
