Help Buffy, Our 7-Month-Old Rescue Lab, Fight Pneumonia

This New Year's Eve, I adopted a beautiful 7-month-old lab puppy, Buffy, from the Humane Society of San Diego. She captured my heart instantly with her playful energy and loving spirit. Sadly, the very next day, Buffy developed pneumonia and had to be rushed to the vet.

Buffy is currently under medical care, and the bills are mounting quickly. Before surgery or additional treatments, her veterinary care has already reached $2,000. As a high school teacher, I’m doing all I can to cover her expenses, but I need your help to give Buffy the fighting chance she deserves.

Buffy is a reminder of the joy and hope rescues bring into our lives. My last rescue dog was my best friend for over 10 years, even thriving for two years after a cancer diagnosis and leg amputation. Buffy has brought that same light into my life, and I want to ensure she has the opportunity to live a full, happy life.
